- 2 beef steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or tenderloin – about 200–250g each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper – to taste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce (optional, for flavor)
Cook The Steak:
Add a bit of oil or butter to the pan.
Place the steak in and sear for 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare, 3–4 minutes for medium, or longer if you prefer it well-done.
Add garlic and rosemary/thyme during the last minute and baste the steak with the melted butter for extra flavor.
