- 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Preheat ovento 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a loaf pan or 8-inch round cake pan. Cream butter & sugar In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Mix dry ingredients In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine Gradually fold dry ingredients into the butter mixture, alternating with milk, starting and ending with flour. Mix gently until just combined. Bake Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool & Serve Let cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
