Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg fresh crab (cleaned and cut into pieces)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare The Crab

  • Clean the crab thoroughly and crack the claws slightly for better flavor absorption

Cook The Crab

  • In a large pan or wok, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and onions, sauté until fragrant and slightly golden.

Add Seasoning

  • Stir in chili flakes, black pepper, and soy sauce.
  • Add the crab pieces and mix well so they’re coated with the butter mixture.

Steam-Cook

  • Cover and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the crab shells turn bright orange and the meat is cooked through.

Finish With Lemon & Herbs

  • Drizzle lemon juice over the crab, sprinkle parsley or coriander, and toss lightly.

Serve

  • Serve hot with steamed rice or crusty bread to soak up the buttery sauce.
