Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1 cup spinach or mushrooms (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare The Chicken

  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • If desired, slice them in half horizontally for thinner fillets (cooks faster and more evenly).

Sear The Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make The Creamy Sauce

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium.
  • Add butter and minced garlic; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and stir, scraping up any brown bits from the pan.
  • Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

Add Cheese & Seasoning

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.

Add Extras (Optional)

  • Add spinach or mushrooms now if using; cook until wilted or tender.

Return Chicken To Pan:

  • Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet.
  • Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2–3 more minutes to warm through and let flavors meld.

Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve hot with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
