- 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- 1 cup spinach or mushrooms (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Prepare The Chicken
Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
If desired, slice them in half horizontally for thinner fillets (cooks faster and more evenly).
Sear The Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make The Creamy Sauce
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium.
Add butter and minced garlic; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and stir, scraping up any brown bits from the pan.
Add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Cheese & Seasoning
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
Serve
Garnish with chopped parsley.
Serve hot with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
