- 6 large eggs
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (or Dijon mustard)
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar or lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Paprika, for garnish
- Optional add-ins: chopped chives, relish, hot sauce, or crumbled bacon
Boil The Eggs:
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water.
Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover the pot, and let the eggs sit for 10–12 minutes.
Cool And Peel:
Drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to an ice bath.
Let them cool for about 5–10 minutes, then peel carefully.
Prepare The Filling:
Slice each egg in half lengthwise.
Gently remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
Mix The Filling:
Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar (or lemon juice), salt, and pepper.
Stir until creamy and well combined. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Garnish And Serve:
Sprinkle paprika over the top for color and flavor.
Optionally, add chives, bacon bits, or a dash of hot sauce.
