Ingredients
  

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 slice of cheese (optional)
  • Lettuce, tomato slices, or onions (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook The Eggs

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  • Crack the eggs into a bowl, beat lightly, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the eggs into the pan and scramble or cook as an omelette, depending on your preference.
  • Cook until fully done, about 2–3 minutes.

Toast The Bread

  • While the eggs are cooking, toast the bread slices until golden brown.

Assemble The Sandwich

  • Spread mayonnaise on one or both slices of bread if using.
  • Place the cooked eggs on one slice.
  • Add cheese, lettuce, tomato, or onion if desired.
  • Top with the other slice of bread.

Serve

  • Cut the sandwich in half if desired, and serve warm.
