Ingredients
  

  • 1½ cups macaroni pasta
  • 4 cups water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced (optional)
  • ½ cup bell pepper, chopped (any color)
  • ½ cup tomato, chopped (or ¼ cup tomato sauce)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning or mixed herbs
  • ¼ cup cheese, grated (optional)

Instructions
 

Boil The Pasta

  • Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add salt and macaroni. Cook for 8–10 minutes or until al dente (firm but cooked).
  • Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

Sauté The Veggies

  • Heat oil or butter in a pan.
  • Add onions and garlic. Sauté until translucent.
  • Add bell peppers and tomatoes. Cook until soft.

Add Seasoning

  • Add black pepper, chili flakes, and herbs. Stir well.

Mix With Pasta

  • Add the boiled macaroni to the pan. Mix well so the sauce coats the pasta.
  • Optional: Sprinkle grated cheese and mix until melted.

Serve Hot

  • Garnish with fresh herbs or extra cheese if desired.
