Ingredients
  

For 4 People:

  • 600–800 g raclette cheese (sliced)
  • 1 kg small potatoes (boiled with skin)
  • 1 cup pickled gherkins
  • 1 cup pickled pearl onions
  • 1–2 cups cured meats (optional): salami, ham, prosciutto, speck

Vegetables (Optional):

  • Mushrooms (sliced)
  • Bell peppers (sliced)
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Zucchini slices
  • Onions

Seasonings:

  • Salt & pepper
  • Dried herbs (thyme or oregano)
  • Paprika or chili flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare The Potatoes:

  • Boil small potatoes until fork-tender.
  • Drain and keep warm.
  • Serve whole so guests can cut them open and pour melted cheese over.

Prep The Vegetables:

  • Slice mushrooms, onions, peppers, or any vegetables you like.
  • Keep them raw or lightly sauté them for added flavor.
  • Arrange everything on a platter.

Set Up The Raclette Grill:

  • Preheat the raclette machine.
  • Place vegetables, meats, or pre-cooked items on top grill surface to warm or lightly char.

Melt The Cheese:

  • Place a slice of raclette cheese into each mini pan (coupelle).
  • Slide the pans under the heating element until the cheese melts and bubbles.

Assemble Your Plate:

  • Place potatoes on a plate.
  • Pour the melted cheese over potatoes, vegetables, or meats.
  • Add gherkins and pickled onions on the side.
  • Season with salt, pepper, herbs, or paprika.

Repeat & Enjoy:

  • Raclette is meant to be eaten slowly, melting cheese for each serving and enjoying it hot and fresh.
