Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled & diced
  • 1 large carrot, boiled & diced
  • 1 cup green peas, boiled
  • 1 cup apple, peeled & diced (optional but traditional)
  • ½ cup cucumber or pickles, diced
  • ½ cup boiled eggs, chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Salt — to taste
  • Black pepper — to taste

Instructions
 

Boil The Vegetables:

  • Boil potatoes, carrots, and peas until soft but not mushy.
  • Let them cool completely.

Cut And Prepare:

  • Dice the boiled potatoes and carrots into small cubes.
  • Dice the apple and cucumber/pickles.
  • Chop the boiled eggs (if using).

Mix The Salad:

  • Place all the prepared ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Combine Gently:

  • Mix well so all ingredients are evenly coated.

Chill And Serve:

  • Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes for the best flavor.
  • Serve cold as a side dish or appetizer.
