- 400 g firm tofu (drained and pressed)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for crispiness)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp ginger (grated, optional)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 tsp chili flakes or sauce (optional, for heat)
- Chopped green onions or sesame seeds (for garnish)
Prepare The Tofu
Drain the tofu block and press it under a heavy object for 15–20 minutes to remove excess water.
Cut into cubes, slices, or triangles.
Season The Tofu
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes (if using).
Add tofu pieces and gently toss. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
Finish & Serve
Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds.
Serve as a snack, over rice/noodles, or in stir-fries and salads.
