Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1¾ cups milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat
    your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Mix dry ingredients
    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Mix wet ingredients
    In another bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  • Combine
    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. Don’t overmix—it's okay if it's a little lumpy.
  • Cook the waffles
    Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or butter. Pour the batter onto the center of the waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp (usually about 3–5 minutes, depending on your waffle maker).
  • Serve
    Serve warm with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce.
